State Question 836 undermines the Republican Party's ability to select candidates who reflect the principles that have guided Oklahoma for generations.
Instead of Republicans voting in a primary to determine a nominee to represent our party in the General Election, SQ 836 will turn our primaries into California style process with all candidates on one ballot, all voters voting on the candidates, and a general election with the top two candidates, regardless of their party.
